Kenne Mansion

Private residential 220 sq.m. penthouse duplex in Mid-Levels close to the historical and highly popular Peak Tram of Hong Kong.

As a temporary rental with a fast approaching move in date, the clients required a furniture proposal for the living and dining areas that catered for regular gatherings and sourced from local suppliers.

We were reluctant to fix much to the existing surfaces, except artwork, so with a few fluted tiles on the column we were able to achieve some texture and tone to break up the otherwise painted walls - and the contractor figured out a solution to install them so that they could be relatively easy to remove later on.

A few final furnishings arrived a couple of months after the clients had already settled in, so for the styling stage of the project and photography we worked with their personal belongings, existing artwork and some furniture pieces that were brought over from their previous home, and combined with the new items. Even grandma’s beautiful passed down plate had a place at the table, which was a second hand find in itself.
