Casino hotels in Macau are renowned for their ostentatious style but our concept and design for the restaurants was in contrast rustic and industrial. Although my main role was in FF&E and materials & finishes, I wanted to include this project for having such a different aesthetic to other projects I have worked on, and because it proved to be more testing to source furniture and surfaces that were/looked more raw and rough.
